“Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that in the Lord your labor is not in vain.”—1 Corinthians 15:58
the brightwing societyThe Brightwing Society exists for one purpose: to encourage Christian artists as they adorn the dark for Christ.
Dear Everybody,
The Brightwing Society exists to cultivate, celebrate, and encourage Christian artists all over the globe.
It is home to artists and writers, certainly, but also chefs, poets, painters, musicians, woodworkers, gardeners, filmmakers, illustrators, photographers, and patrons of the arts. We believe that what we make — whether stories, songs, or meals around a table — can help re-teach a weary world how to hope.
We recognize that movements of beauty take time and seldom make headlines. For this reason The Brightwing Society commits itself to patient creativity, humble fellowship, and the cultivation of culture for Christ’s kingdom across the globe. If this vision resonates with you, join us. Membership carries no obligations.
Don’t lose heart. God is at work through you, and your work matters.

Adorn the dark with us.
The $5/month membership fee enables The Brightwing Society to encourage Christian artists all over the world as they continue their quiet efforts to adorn the dark for Christ.
The brightwing society manifestoWe believe that God made us in His image as makers (Gen. 1:27). We are created to create. The Brightwing Society exists to encourage Christian artists whose work participates in the long, multi-generational renewal of culture. We gather makers, patrons, and lovers of the arts into a global fellowship committed to crafting stories, songs, and works that bear the light of Christ.
We believe that small, faithful acts of making can kindle movements of lasting hope.
We walk quietly. We work steadfastly. We hope in Christ.
